Childrens Music
Childrens' music refers to music, usually songs, written specifically for a juvenile audience. Children's music has historically held both entertainment and educational functions, as it is often designed to provide an entertaining means of teaching kids about their culture, other cultures, good behavior, facts and skills. Many are folk songs, lullabies, and nursery rhymes, but there is a whole genre of educational music for kids that has become increasingly popular. Generally light in orchestration, and upbeat, childrens music appeals to kids because of its strong melody and simplicity in structure.
