Eastern
Eastern world music usually borrows elements from Eastern Religious music, and combines the sounds and native instruments from China, Japan, Korea, and India with modern pop and rock sounds, or even contemporary new age and orchestra music. Popular orchestrational choices include Sitars or shakuahachi and shamishen to provide an oriental feel. Forms may also be borrowed from Indian ragas and eastern folk music.
