Designed Intervention is the brainchild of Indie/Pop guitarist and producer Michael K. O’Donnell. It began as the production arm for the Midwest College Touring Band Repertoire and has evolved into a full scale music publishing team. Michael has been writing and recording music for 15 years. Trained as a classical guitarist, Michael’s influences span from Bach to Hendrix to Daft Punk. While most producers see through a piano’s lens, Michael’s roots in guitar create a unique, rhythmically driven sound that has been described as “Indie-Hip-Pop.” His music has been spun on 50 college and Indie stations across the Midwest and his latest album, “You might not be ready but your kids are going to love it” was nominated by Radio Milwaukee for “Album of the Year.” Designed Intervention’s music is currently in rotation at some of the largest retailers in the US and Europe including American Eagle, Aeropostale, and Subway restaurants.
