Experience the dynamic pulse of the alternative rock sound of Twin Cities based Maseric. Eric Anderson and Sean Mason meld their creative musical talent in the crucible of emotional recordings to produce unique compositions of mood rock sounds. Capturing the audience in their mix of ambient pop/rock tunes, Maseric has captured their tone.
Maseric started writing and recording in the summer of 2008. Both Eric and Sean's background in music gives them a great songwriting structure which reflects in their compositions. Eric played for several years with rock band Divine Method, which was a mid-west regional touring rock group. Eric both managed and played guitar in the trio. Sean found success in playing and touring nationally in the rock band Shadz of Gray. Sean played bass with the band, and shared the stage with many great acts including opening for the band Kansas.
Eric and Sean bring a fresh new instrumental sound to what’s lacking in music today. Musical tastes ranging from hard rock, ambient dream pop to orchestral patriotic overtures. Music influenced by artists such as Bruce Hornsby, Jimmy Eat World, Yanni, Massive Attack, Hans Zimmer and Iron Maiden, the band mixes these inspirations into the sound of Maseric. With focus on writing catchy, simple and emotional music, the guys are able to have the listener walk away with a positive experience. The next year looks great for Eric and Sean. Currently they are working on a third album that should be released sometime next year.
